I was planning on doing some drawing today, but it kcked into higher gear when I saw this. I'm a fan of Surly. I know those guys. I've been pining to pen some bottle/can art for them for the last 2,000 years. I now have my chance. I make no assumptions, just going to put... Continue Reading →
Deadlines at work, a lot of unfinished drawings, and the to-do list never ends - I feel bloated. Need to get some of these projects d.o.n.e. All in good time. It's Friday night, and this husband and father just came off a 50 hour work week. Not complaining, just relishing a Friday night in the... Continue Reading →
There is a story behind this piece; a gesture of gratitude to a righteous dude and great friend. It's a story that you know reader, a story that takes place year after year. Revive is another great online publication covering the places, art, fish, people and culture of contemporary fly fishing. I'm honored to be a small part of what they're doing. Please check it out, and... Continue Reading →

It's snowing. It's cold. I've resorted to watching crappy videos of bozos floating the Mississippi, catching smallies on poppers and drinking way too many IPA's.
I've had an idea for a new body for work bouncing around in my head for the last month. I finally put pencil/paint to surface, and the idea jumped into life. I'm pumped. The surface/canvas will be wood boards (new or used, as long as they're suitable to draw on). The grain, texture and feel... Continue Reading →
