Dangerous Abe: The Bearded Gar

What you lookin’ at?

Dangerous Abe: The Bearded Gar is done.  He’s basking in the appreciation of Dangerous Man’s patrons.  He’s dangerous, but content in his settings. He came together like a Summer breeze that turns into a lightning storm. Huge thank you’s to Rob, Sarah, Ginny and everyone else at Dangerous Man Brewing.

Twin Cities Live will be running a piece on Abe, and the other two brewrey fish murals later today, 3-4pm on KSTP 5.  The spot will be posted online afterwards, at which time I will disseminate it via another post.

Beautiful work. I caught a 30″ gar belly boating for bass on a local lake. First time I ever had a fish do the Musky roll while fly fishing. What motivated you to choose the gar as the subject?

Great work! I had the pleasure of visiting Dangerous Man this Saturday. Very cool place with lots of character. The gar tops it all off.
